Review by hotel critic
Villa Cesi in the stunning hills of Tuscany certainly has its charms, presenting a blend of comfort and value just a short drive from Florence. The hotel offers well-appointed, clean rooms that are quite spacious and equipped with essential amenities like air conditioning and flat-screen TVs. While my expectations for a lavish experience were met, I appreciated that the cost didn’t break the bank. One standout feature was the onsite restaurant, making it convenient for dinner after a day of exploration. I found the staff to be friendly, and to my delight, they even had a playful kitten roaming about. Parking is plentiful, which is a big plus for travelers with rental cars; trust me, the scenic drives around the area are worth it. Although the spa facility wasn’t open during my visit, I’m optimistic about its potential. Villa Cesi strikes a balance between luxury and practicality, making it a wise choice for those seeking authenticity and comfort in Tuscany without overspending.
